Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Automotive Store Manager to lead our retail automotive parts and service center. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, manage staff, ensure excellent customer service, and drive sales growth. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management within the automotive industry. Bilingual abilities and prior experience in sales management or store supervision are highly valued. The Automotive Store Manager will play a key role in maintaining store profitability, fostering a positive team environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and POS transactions
- Lead and supervise staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to meet performance standards
- Manage payroll, scheduling, and budgeting to ensure operational efficiency
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing clients
- Ensure accurate pricing, purchasing, and bookkeeping to maintain financial integrity
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide exceptional customer service
- Conduct sales management activities to meet or exceed sales targets
- Maintain organized store environment through effective merchandising and store layout planning
- Supervise cashiering activities including cash handling and phone etiquette
- Monitor store compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Experience
- Proven retail management experience within the automotive parts or related industry
- Strong leadership skills with supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability in sales management, merchandising, and marketing strategies
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Experience in recruiting, training & development, budgeting, and team management
- Skilled in negotiation, pricing strategies, and customer service excellence
- Ability to manage time effectively with strong organizational skills
- Prior experience in retail sales or store supervision is preferred
