About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with a rapidly growing, multi-location hospitality group (mainly brunch/daytime dining) that has built a strong reputation for high-quality food, consistently strong customer experiences, and locations that are genuinely loved by their communities.
That reputation has driven real momentum… the business is currently operating 20+ locations across Ontario and is on track to expand by ~10 new locations annually.
With that growth comes a clear need: stronger leadership, more structure, and someone who can bring consistency at scale.
Why This Role Exists
Right now, the business has strong operators at the store level, a loyal and hardworking team, and real demand. What’s missing is a true senior operator who can:
- Bring structure and accountability
- Elevate performance across locations
- Build the leadership layer underneath them
Position Overview
As the Senior Operations Manager, you’ll step in as the central operational leader across the business.
You’ll lead and build a team of Multi-Unit Operations Managers (each overseeing ~5 locations), drive consistency across both corporate and franchise locations, and own performance visibility across the network (reporting, dashboards, KPIs).
You’ll also oversee operations across additional concepts within the portfolio (a few evening dining locations) and help build a scalable structure to support continued expansion.
This role is primarily head office-based, with regular field presence (a few days per month) visiting locations, conducting inspections, and supporting teams on the ground where needed.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Lead and develop a team of Multi-Unit Operations Managers (each overseeing ~5 locations), setting clear expectations, KPIs, and accountability
- Build and implement the operational structure required to support rapid growth, including systems, reporting, and performance frameworks
- Drive consistency across both corporate and franchise locations, ensuring alignment with brand standards, SOPs, and customer experience expectations
- Own performance visibility across the network, establishing and managing dashboards, reporting, and KPIs that drive decision-making and accountability
- Monitor and improve key metrics, including food cost, labour cost, and overall operational efficiency across locations
- Identify underperforming locations and implement clear, practical action plans to improve performance
- Lead structured audits and inspections, ensuring gaps are identified, addressed, and followed through on
- Act as the central escalation point for operational challenges across locations, ensuring timely and effective resolution
- Partner directly with ownership to identify gaps, introduce new ideas, and implement best practices across the business
- Collaborate with internal teams (training, culinary, HR, marketing, logistics) to drive continuous operational improvement
- Play a key role in hiring, shaping, and developing the next layer of leadership within the operations team
- Support the ongoing evolution of a scalable operations model as the business continues to expand
This role is:
- Strategic, with the ability to get hands-on when needed
- Focused on building systems and elevating people
- About driving consistency across multiple locations
This role is not:
- Sitting behind a desk reviewing reports all day
- Micro-managing stores
- Maintaining the status quo
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of experience in a multi-unit Operations Management role within food & beverage, QSR or hospitality.
- Experience overseeing multiple locations (5+ minimum)
- Exposure overseeing both corporate and franchise locations
- Strong understanding of cost control, KPIs, and operational performance
- Experience building or improving structure, systems, and reporting
- A confident leader who can coach, challenge, and elevate teams
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Arabic language skills are an asset
What’s in It for You
- Opportunity to step into a high-growth organization with aggressive expansion plans
- Leadership that values autonomy, accountability, and outcomes over micromanagement
- Ability to build and shape the operations structure as the company scales
- Exposure across multiple brands and business lines
- A tight-knit, entrepreneurial culture with high ownership
- Competitive compensation with a performance-based bonus (paid quarterly)
- Health benefits + HSA
- 25% discount across all locations
- Flexible working style within a structured schedule
- Convenient Mississauga head office located close to highways, with free parking.
If you’re someone who enjoys building structure, improving performance, and seeing the direct impact of your work across multiple locations… this is the kind of role that doesn’t come up often.
