Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter with a minimum of ten years of construction expertise to join our dynamic team. This role demands a dedicated professional who excels in various facets of carpentry, including blueprint reading, concrete forming, restoration, and cabinetry installation. Responsibilities
- Interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction projects.
- Construct, install, repair, and restore structures using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment across residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
- Perform concrete forming and rebar installation to ensure durable foundations and structures.
- Install cabinetry, flooring, tiles, siding, roofing materials, and other finishing elements with meticulous attention to detail.
- Conduct masonry work including bricklaying and stonework as required for various projects.
- Manage heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to all safety protocols; assist with reassembly and assembly tasks on-site.
- Collaborate with project managers on construction estimating, scheduling, and resource planning.
- Execute maintenance or handyman repairs such as plumbing, electrical work, caulking, or painting to support ongoing project needs.
- Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and client specifications.
- Contribute to the development of schematics or technical documentation when necessary for complex projects.
Skills
- Extensive experience in carpentry with a strong background in woodworking and construction trades.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical schematics for diverse projects.
- Skilled in concrete forming, masonry techniques, roofing installation, siding application, and tile laying.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools including CNC machinery familiarity is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes to assist in project planning and resource allocation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
- Experience in restoration projects as well as cabinetry installation and flooring setup.
- Familiarity with plumbing systems and electrical wiring is advantageous for comprehensive job execution.
- Strong understanding of schematics and technical diagrams related to construction components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with effective communication abilities for team collaboration.
