Position Overview
We are hiring for part-time, and split shift roles. As a Restaurant Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a great dining experience, whether they’re ordering at the counter, taking out food, or dining in. We’re also looking for individuals who have the potential to grow within the company, with opportunities to become a Team Leader and eventually a Manager.
Responsibilities:
· Greet customers and provide excellent service with a friendly and positive attitude
· Take orders accurately and handle cash or card transactions using the POS system
· Prepare and wrap burritos and other menu items following our recipes and food safety standards
· Handle food prep, including chopping vegetables, prepping sauces, and marinating meats
· Cook on the grill and operate fryers safely to prepare fresh, made-to-order meals
· Clean and maintain the kitchen, dining area, and restrooms to meet health and safety standards
· Assist with deep cleaning of the entire restaurant, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
· Wash dishes and ensure kitchen equipment is cleaned and ready for use
· Stock supplies and manage inventory
· Strive to meet or exceed shift targets and goals set by management
· Work efficiently during peak hours to ensure quick service without sacrificing quality
· Collaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain smooth operations
Qualifications:
· 2+ years of experience in any fast food or quick-service restaurant (Mexican restaurant experience preferred but not mandatory)
· Mandatory: Knowledge of how to properly prepare and wrap burritos or willingness to learn quickly
· Experience working on grills, fryers, and performing basic food prep is a plus
· Willingness to perform cleaning duties, including restrooms, kitchen, and general restaurant areas
· Strong communication and customer service skills
· Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
· Willingness to learn and follow food safety regulations
· Open availability is required – must be able to work both opening and closing shifts, including weekdays and weekends
· Must be able to work shifts, including split shifts for applicable positions
