Security Service Technician

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, technology, and building strong customer relationships.
What You’ll Do
Service, troubleshoot, configure, and maintain:
- Security alarm systems
- Access control systems
- Video surveillance / CCTV systems
- Automation and integrated security systems
Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site
Upgrade existing customer systems and equipment
Travel to customer sites throughout Calgary and surrounding areas
Train clients on proper system operation and maintenance
Complete service documentation accurately and professionally
Work independently while collaborating with other technicians and office staff
Deliver an excellent customer experience on every service call
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience servicing or installing:
- Security systems
- CCTV / video surveillance systems
- Access control systems
Experience with:
- Running wires and device installation
- System troubleshooting
- Basic programming and configuration
Interest and aptitude for:
- Electronics
- Networking
- System integration
- Smart technologies
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and problem solve in the field
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Valid driver’s license with clean abstract
Clear criminal record
Fluent English
High school diploma or equivalent
