Apple tree family daycare is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and certified Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join our licensed Family Multi-Age program. In this role, you will care for and educate a small, diverse group of children ranging from infants to school-age, while also maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized home-like environment. We focus on creating a warm, play-based setting that supports individual growth and community connection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based curriculum activities for a multi-age group.
- Ensure a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment adhering to BC Child Care Licensing Regulations.
- Guide children in development of positive social habits, emotional regulation, and self-care skills.
- Maintain clear, open, and professional communication with parents regarding daily routines and milestones.
- Supervise indoor and outdoor play spaces, ensuring all safety protocols are consistently met.
- Housekeeping Duties: Perform daily light housekeeping tasks including sanitizing toys, cleaning surfaces, sweeping, food preparation cleanup, and keeping the childcare areas tidy and organized.
Pay: From $26.00 per hour
