Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and organized Glass Shop Manager to lead the daily operations of our Montague location. The successful candidate will oversee shop productivity, manage staff, ensure excellent customer service, maintain safety standards, and help grow the business while fostering a positive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the glass shop.
- Supervise, train, and support technicians and shop staff.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain inventory of glass, tools, and shop supplies.
- Work with insurance companies and customers regarding claims and estimates.
- Enforce workplace safety policies and maintain a clean, organized shop.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
- Monitor productivity and help achieve sales and operational goals.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous management or supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience in the automotive glass or automotive service industry is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Customer-focused with a professional attitude.
- Computer proficiency and experience with scheduling and invoicing software.
- Valid driver's license.
