Mader Group's Payroll team is expanding! To support this growth, we are seeking a full-time Payroll Administrator. Be part of a social workplace that prioritizes culture!
This is an office-based role, working Monday - Friday
Ideal Candidate:
- PCP designation or working towards it.
- ADP exposure - or any other payroll software
- Understanding of payroll legislation, multiple province (preferable)
- Soft skills: accuracy, critical thinking, Microsoft Excel
Core Duties:
- Manage workflow ensuring all payroll transactions are accurate and timely
- Process manual checks, manage garnishments, liens, benefits, taxes, and deductions
- Manage, maintain, troubleshoot TokN E-timesheets system, and hold coordinators accountable to timelines
- Maintain a high level of security and confidentiality of sensitive information
- Audit and balance reports and returns prepared by ADP
- Maintain and resolve payroll issues with ADP
- Answer and resolve any payroll related queries from employees
- Maintain employee details in GreenTree and ADP
- Opportunity to learn & process US Payroll employees
- Maintain local jurisdictions registrations
- Assist in developing policy and procedures documentation for the Payroll Department
- Assist the Accounting Department with compliance reporting and annual audits
- Payroll size consists of 200 + Employees
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of Payroll experience
- Experience processing hourly & salaried employee's highly regarded
- ADP experience preferred
- Experience with handling payroll for multiple provinces/territories
- US payroll experience an advantage
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
- Intermediate with MS Office, primarily Excel spreadsheet

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
