Job Overview:
Join Sarvay, a growing company specializing in providing additional IT and telecommunications solutions to businesses and organizations. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be a key player in our supply chain, responsible for the accurate handling, storage, and movement of critical IT and telecom equipment including routers, switches, servers, fiber optic cables, modems, access points, structured cabling components, and customer premises equipment.
Responsibilities:
Receiving & Put-Away:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments of IT hardware, networking equipment, and telecom components.
- Verify received quantities against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Label and store equipment in designated warehouse locations following bin location systems.
Order Picking & Packing:
- Accurately pick IT and telecom equipment from warehouse shelves based on work orders, pick tickets, or technician requests.
- Pack sensitive electronics using appropriate anti-static (ESD-safe) materials and cushioning to prevent damage during transit.
- Double-check order accuracy before sealing and labeling packages.
Inventory Control:
- Perform regular cycle counts of high-value items (servers, switches, routers, access points).
- Assist with monthly or quarterly physical inventory audits.
- Identify and quarantine damaged, obsolete, or defective equipment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Basic math skills for counting inventory and managing orders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic.
Pay: $21.76-$25.64 per hour
