Roofing Foreman

We are currently seeking an experienced Roofing Foreman to join our team in Saskatoon. This leadership position is responsible for supervising commercial roofing projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will be a motivated leader with excellent communication skills, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to develop and mentor crews.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a crew of 6–8 employees on commercial roofing projects.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate daily work activities to ensure project timelines are achieved.
- Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing company safety policies and industry best practices.
- Read and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and construction drawings.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with manufacturer specifications, building codes, and company quality standards.
- Coordinate labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors as required.
- Communicate effectively with Project Managers, Superintendents, clients, and other trades.
- Mentor, train, and support crew members to promote skill development and productivity.
- Complete daily reports, inspections, and other required project documentation.
- Identify and resolve job site challenges while maintaining productivity and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the commercial flat roofing industry.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Foreman or supervisory role.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and manage a productive crew.
- Thorough understanding of commercial roofing systems, installation methods, and safety requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret specifications, blueprints, and construction drawings.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
- Journeyperson Certification is considered an asset but is not required.
- Valid driver’s licence with reliable transportation is preferred.
Equivalent combinations of education, training, and industry experience will be considered.

Pay: $25.65-$50.05 per hour
