Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Concrete Finisher/labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing, masonry, and related trades. This finisher/labourer role involves forming, wheeling, finishing on various projects such as floor/garage pads, sidewalks, patios, steps, etc while ensuring high-quality finishes.
Responsibilities
- Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to achieve smooth, level finishes.
- Install rebar and formwork according to blueprints and schematics to prepare for concrete pouring.
- Wheel cement to formed structures.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials efficiently.
- Proven experience in concrete finishing or related construction fields such as masonry or restoration.
- Knowledge of concrete forming techniques and finishing methods.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
- Experience with rebar installation, carpentry skills including forming.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively in physically demanding environments.
- Must possess a Class G license
- Strong work ethic
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
