SET Mechanical, a sister company of Baydo Development Corporation, is growing in the BC market and is hiring a General Labourer to support material organization, inventory control, and site coordination on large residential construction projects.
Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable and organized General Labourer to help manage plumbing and HVAC materials on site. This role is important in keeping the job site organized, efficient, and properly stocked so trades can complete their work safely and on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Receive, organize, and track materials delivered to site.
- Maintain clean and organized storage areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and material records.
- Distribute materials, tools, and equipment to trades as needed.
- Monitor material shortages and report needs to the Foreman or Project Manager.
- Help load, unload, and move materials around the job site.
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and free of hazards.
- Support Foremen, Journeymen, and site staff with general labour tasks.
- Follow all site safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications
- Must be currently located in Canada.
- Must be in BC or able to work in BC.
- Previous construction site experience is an asset.
- Ability to lift and move materials safely.
- Organized, reliable, and punctual.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing or HVAC materials is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
