Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join Kidz Toys. We are a kids toy store with games, dress up clothes, books, educational toys and more! We need someone who can help run the day to day. This role involves engaging with customers, providing advice on products if need be, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in purchasing games and or toys
- Upsell additional products to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
- Maintain organized product displays and keep the sales area clean and inviting
- Stay informed about new products, promotions, and industry trends to better serve customers
- Assist in inventory management and replenish stock on the shelves
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Effective sales techniques, including upselling and cross-selling strategies
- Cash handling experience with accuracy and integrity
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work alone or in a group while maintaining attention to detail
