Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting goods efficiently and safely to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, familiarity with heavy equipment, and a commitment to excellent customer service. Contributing to smooth delivery operations and vehicle maintenance.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery trucks and commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload
- Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries and pickups
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies during deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to confirm delivery schedules and address any issues
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record suitable for commercial driving
- Ability to operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate delivery documentation
- Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers
- Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or related fields is advantageous
