Summary
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at Wascana Daycare as a cook to prepare daily snacks and a lunch for 90 children. This position is based in Regina at Wascana Early Learning Centre at the University.
Responsibilities
- Meal preparation of snacks and lunch following the Canada Food guide.
- Maintain an immaculate kitchen.
- Manage inventory of food and kitchen supplies.
- Follow all safety protocols and policies.
- Follow directions from Management
- Communicate effectively with children, parents and staff.
- Order groceries
- Qualifications
- Experience working in this environment is an asset
- Current Safe Food Handling certificate
- Strong knowledge of the Canada Food Guide
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Must be able to multi task effectively
- Ability to problem solve
Pay: From $16.05 per hour
