Bladepro Sharpening is a growing commercial knife exchange service serving restaurants, kitchens, and food businesses across the Lower Mainland. We help kitchens stay sharp, efficient, and reliable — and we’re looking for a motivated B2B Sales Development Representative to help us grow.
If you’re confident on the phone, comfortable walking into businesses, and enjoy building relationships with decision-makers, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect and generate new business opportunities - Research restaurants, cafes, hotels, catering companies, and other food-service businesses in the Lower Mainland.
- Cold call decision-makers - Introduce Bladepro’s knife sharpening and exchange programs, qualify interest, and book appointments.
- Visit businesses in person - Conduct door-to-door outreach, drop off materials, and build rapport with owners, chefs, and kitchen managers.
- Manage your pipeline - Track leads, follow-ups, and sales activity using a CRM and keep organized notes on prospects.
- Collaborate with the founder and operations team - Share market feedback, refine outreach strategies, and help improve our sales process.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven B2B sales experience (required)
- Experience with cold calling and door-to-door sales (required)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Organized, persistent, and results-driven
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel
- Experience selling to restaurants or hospitality businesses is an asset, but not required
Compensation & Schedule
Pay - $25/hour plus commission
Commission - Typical acceptable performance earns approximately $1,000/month in commission
Hours - 24 hours a week, part-time, flexible scheduling
Work style - Hybrid — work from home for calling/admin tasks and travel locally for in-person outreach
