Position Summary
We're looking for a dependable, hands-on team member to support the daily operations of our warehouse. Working closely with the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Operations Assistant helps receive shipments, organize inventory, prepare deliveries, and maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse. This position also assists with basic repair support and provides backup delivery services when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming shipments.
- Organize and move inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Pick, stage, and prepare products for scheduled deliveries.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely.
- Prepare delivery vehicles for the next day's routes.
- Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and yard.
- Assist with basic repair support and refurbishment activities.
- Provide backup Appliance Delivery Driver support as required.
- Report damaged products, equipment issues, and safety concerns.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager
Qualifications
- Valid Class G Driver's Licence (required).
- Clean driver's abstract.
- Forklift certification is considered an asset.
- Previous warehouse or delivery experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to safely lift and carry more than 50 pounds.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work as part of a team.
Working Conditions
- Standard working hours are Monday - Friday, 9:00-17:30. Start and finish times may vary based on operational requirements (occasional overtime as required).
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing throughout the workday.
- Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
