Bright Learners Daycare Ltd. is seeking a passionate, caring, and dedicated Early Childhood Educator – Infant/Toddler (ECE-IT) to join our brand-new, purpose-built childcare centre in Maple Ridge. Responsibilities
- Provide quality care and education for infants and toddlers (0–36 months).
- Plan and implement age-appropriate learning activities based on the BC Early Learning Framework.
- Foster children’s cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Observe, document, and communicate children’s progress with families.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow educators.
- Follow all licensing regulations, health and safety policies, and daycare procedures.
- Assist with daily routines, including meals, diapering, toileting, rest time, and outdoor play.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and team collaboration.
Qualifications
- Valid BC Early Childhood Educator Infant/Toddler (ECE-IT) Certificate.
- Valid First Aid Certificate with CPR-C.
- Clear Criminal Record Check.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Passion for early childhood education and child development.
