Job Title: Payments Operations Analyst
Location: Toronto, ON (Remote)
Duration: 4 months contract (with possibility of extension/conversion)
Summary of the Role
Provides day-to-day delivery of critical processes, administration and servicing activities in connection with retail and commercial ATM deposits and payments. Supports the execution of payments, transactions, service requests, administrative activities and processes, and fulfillment of business, stakeholder and/or external customer inquiries/requests within relevant service level agreements (SLAs). Collaborates with stakeholders to promote efficient and effective processes and workflow, establish positive working relationships across the organization, and achieve business results while delivering the intended customer and employee experience.
The role is responsible for deposit and payment monitoring, including actioning requests from the line of business related to ATM deposit and withdrawal disputes.
Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities
· Provide day-to-day delivery of critical processes, administration, and servicing activities related to retail and commercial ATM deposits and payments.
· Support the execution of payments, transactions, service requests, administrative activities, and business processes within established service level agreements (SLAs).
· Monitor ATM deposits and payments and action requests related to ATM deposit and withdrawal disputes.
· Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
· Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver business objectives.
· Support change management initiatives of varying scope and type, with responsibilities focused on execution and sustainment activities.
· Act as a problem-solving resource for junior staff, referring non-routine issues to senior team members and/or management when appropriate.
· Perform quality control activities and training as required.
· Organize work information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
· Execute routine service requests, transactions, and inquiries within relevant service level agreements.
· Process service requests, transactions, and operational activities accurately and in accordance with established policies, processes, and procedures.
· Provide accurate, consistent, and knowledgeable responses to stakeholder inquiries and requests.
· Follow documented policies and procedures to execute daily operational activities while ensuring all service level agreements (SLAs) are achieved.
· Check and reconcile information and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
· Identify and resolve discrepancies in accordance with standard procedures and escalate issues as required.
· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives.
· Participate in the development and implementation of new processes, systems, and enhancements to existing operational procedures.
· Maintain an understanding of regulatory requirements and operational risks while ensuring operational integrity is maintained.
· Complete complex and diverse tasks within established guidelines and limits.
· Analyze issues, determine appropriate next steps, and escalate when necessary.
· Perform additional duties and broader accountabilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
· Typically, between 1–2 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Knowledge and experience using relevant systems and technology.
· Good knowledge and understanding of the business unit's key products, services, processes, and controls.
· Good knowledge of risk and regulatory requirements within the business.
· Good prioritization skills.
· Excellent PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Power BI.
· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
· Basic specialized knowledge.

Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
