Overview
We are seeking experienced framers to join our team for the construction of custom homes and renovation projects. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in framing, carpentry, and related construction skills. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques to deliver high-quality results. Candidates should be detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate framing and building processes
- Construct and install wall frames, floors, roofs, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and related tasks for foundation work
- Execute siding installation and restoration work as needed for renovation projects
- Operate heavy equipment safely for tasks such as lifting and positioning large materials
- Engage in welding and woodworking tasks to support framing and finishing activities
- Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to ensure safety and efficiency on-site
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in framing, carpentry, or related construction fields with a focus on custom homes and renovations
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation
- Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing, and restoration techniques
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions
- Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and procedures
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions effectively
- Valid <PERSON> (or equivalent) license preferred but not mandatory depending on project requirements
