About the role:
Skilled Trades College of Canada (STC) is seeking a high-performing Program Advisor to drive student enrollment at our Peel Region campus in Mississauga. As the first point of contact for prospective students, you will be responsible for building relationships, understanding career goals, and guiding individuals through the decision-making and enrollment process.
You will receive warm leads to follow-up and connect with.
As the face of the campus, you will conduct campus tours, provide information on programs and funding opportunities, and help prospective students take the next step toward a career in the skilled trades. Success in this role requires strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping students achieve their goals.
In this role you will help make a difference by helping support the future of the trades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students, guiding them through the enrollment process from initial inquiry to registration.
- Manage and respond to all inbound inquiries in a timely and professional manner, converting leads into enrollments and achieving campus enrollment targets.
- Conduct campus tours and provide prospective students with detailed information about programs, career opportunities, funding options, and student services.
- Build strong relationships with prospective and current students to support engagement, retention, and overall student satisfaction throughout the student lifecycle.
- Provide ongoing support and act as the main liaison for students from enrollment through graduation and potential employment opportunities.
- Serve as an escalation point for student concerns and work collaboratively with campus and operational teams to resolve issues effectively.
- Collaborate with campus leadership to develop, implement, and achieve enrollment and sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Monitor enrollment performance and continuously identify opportunities to improve lead conversion, intake processes, and student retention.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local secondary schools, school boards, guidance counselors, community organizations, and workforce development partners to generate awareness and referrals.
- Coordinate and participate in campus events, including open houses, information sessions, career fairs, and community outreach initiatives.
- Maintain accurate student records and activity tracking within the institution's CRM and student management systems.
- Promote student success stories and encourage graduates and current students to share positive experiences through online reviews and social media platforms.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
