Pizza Pizza Keswick is looking for reliable, energetic and hardworking Pizza Cooks to join our team. The ideal candidate can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent food quality, cleanliness and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pizzas, wings, fries and other menu items according to Pizza Pizza standards.
- Follow recipes, portion sizes and customer order instructions accurately.
- Prepare dough, vegetables, sauces and other ingredients.
- Operate ovens, fryers and other kitchen equipment safely.
- Monitor cooking times and food quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, preparation area and workstation.
- Wash dishes and complete opening and closing duties.
- Follow food-safety, sanitation and workplace-safety procedures.
- Restock ingredients, packaging and supplies as needed.
- Answer phones, assist customers and handle the cash register when required.
- Work cooperatively with cooks, cashiers, drivers and management.
- Complete other restaurant duties assigned by the manager.
Qualifications
- Previous pizza-store, restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required.
- Training will be provided to suitable candidates.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately during busy periods.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependable, punctual and responsible.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing regular kitchen duties.
- Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
- A valid Ontario Food Handler Certificate is an asset.

Pay: $17.60-$20.77 per hour
