Overview
Brampton Golf Club is one of Canada's premier private golf clubs, known for exceptional hospitality, outstanding service, and a commitment to creating memorable experiences for our members and guests.
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Food & Beverage Supervisor to support daily operations across our various dining outlets, banquets, and special events. The successful candidate will lead by example, support and develop team members, and help deliver the high standards of service our members have come to expect.
This is a leadership position that combines floor supervision, event execution, team development, and direct member service in a dynamic private club environment.
Compensation: $21.00-$24.00 per hour, plus participation in the Club's gratuity distribution program.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and support Food & Beverage team members during daily operations.
- Foster a culture of hospitality, professionalism, teamwork, and accountability.
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and coaching staff.
- Deliver exceptional service experiences and build positive relationships with members and guests.
- Maintain a visible presence on the floor and lead by example.
- Address member inquiries, concerns, and service opportunities in a professional and timely manner.
- Supervise daily food and beverage operations across multiple dining outlets and event spaces.
- Coordinate service flow between front-of-house and culinary teams.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, daily reconciliations, and security procedures & other administration duties as required.
- Ensure cleanliness, presentation, and service standards are consistently maintained in all Dining areas.
- Assist with inventory control and communicating operational supply needs.
- Support the planning and execution of tournaments, banquets, weddings, and member events.
- Assist with event setup and teardown, including moving tables, chairs, beverage stations, kegs, and related equipment.
- Contribute to the Club's beverage program by providing suggestions for wine lists, cocktail menus, seasonal features, and beverage offerings.
- Develop a strong understanding of the Club's wine and beverage program and confidently recommend wines, cocktails, and beverage pairings to members and guests.
- Lead by example through active participation in service, including serving tables, running food, bartending support, and event execution when operationally required.
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience in hospitality, food & beverage, restaurant, hotel, golf club, or event operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Experience with POS systems; Jonas experience is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of food safety, food handling, and Smart Serve regulations.
- Interest in wine, beer, spirits, and hospitality service.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to coach, train, and develop team members.
- Smart Serve Certification required.
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 25 lbs on a regular basis.
- Experience in a private club environment is considered an asset.
Schedule Expectations
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Supervisors are expected to be available during peak operating periods, tournaments, member events, and special functions.
- Scheduling will vary throughout the season based on operational requirements.
