Job Duties:
- Plan and manage the loading/unloading of trucks and trailer in the AM and PM
- Cut grass, trim edges, blow trimmings
- Work directly with the field supervisor for adjustments needed to your day
- Supervise the work crew members to ensure proper safety, quality, and productivity
- Operate power equipment including, but not limited to, stand-on mowers, walker mowers, line trimmers, blowers, and hedge trimmers
- Conduct daily inspections on trucks and equipment
- Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 2 years experience in the landscape/grounds maintenance industry
- Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
- Effective communication skills
- Time management skills
- Valid G license with clean drivers abstract
Work Conditions:
- Start time is 7 AM
- Availability to work Saturdays from April through May
- The job requires the ability to work with hand tools, small engine equipment, and materials in a safe and constructive manner
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, and cold.
As we are trying to secure year-round employees, winter plowing/sidewalk plowing experience is an asset.
