Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Night Auditor/Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth overnight operations, providing exceptional guest services, and maintaining the hotel’s reputation for excellence. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, personable, and capable of handling a variety of front desk responsibilities during nighttime hours. Prior hotel experience and multilingual skills are highly valued to enhance guest interactions and support diverse clientele.
Responsibilities
- Perform nightly audit procedures to reconcile daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy of accounts
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out processes efficiently and courteously
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude
- Manage multi-line phone systems to respond to reservations, guest questions, and internal communications
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details
- Ensure the lobby and front desk area are clean, organized, and welcoming during overnight hours
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs promptly
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures related to security, safety, and confidentiality
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills across multiple channels
- Experience working at a front desk or in hospitality is preferred
- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse guests effectively
- Knowledge of hotel operations, reservation systems, and guest services best practices
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in recordkeeping and financial reconciliation
Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
