Data analytics is central to TSSA’s vision for a safer Ontario. Your Key Contributions:
- Support Enterprise Data Architecture: Design and maintain enterprise data architecture, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models that align with business requirements and support scalable analytics and reporting.
- Support Data Modelling & Optimization: Develop and optimize data models and storage solutions in collaboration with infrastructure teams to enhance performance and cost efficiency.
- Support Requirements & Solution Alignment: Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather, document, and translate data requirements into effective architectural solutions.
- Support Data Governance & Compliance: Contribute to data governance frameworks, supporting initiatives related to data security, classification, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
- Support Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to improve data platforms, architecture, and overall system capabilities.
- Support Standards & Best Practices: Provide guidance to Data Engineers, BI Analysts, and Data Scientists to promote consistent use of data standards, models, and governance practices.
- Support Project Delivery: Contribute to ongoing data initiatives and project‑based work, providing architectural expertise as required.
Your Qualifications & Key Strengths:
Education:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or a related quantitative field.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years experience designing and maintaining data architecture, with 10 years of working in enterprise data architecture, data modelling, or data engineering.
- Experience with data governance policies and compliance standards.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Possess or working towards Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) designation preferred.
- Strong ability to design scalable data systems that meet business and technical requirements.
- Skilled in documenting data pipelines, catalogues, and lineage for analytics and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions that impact enterprise data strategy.
- Working experience with tools such as Python, Microsoft Azure, Fivetran, DBT, Knime, and Dataiku.

Hiring Range Details: The hiring range for this role is $98,460 – 135,383. The annual salary may vary within this range depending on a number of factors, including the candidate's qualifications.
