A Bread Affair is looking for someone to join our fulfilment team at the bakery as an Order Assembler. Opportunity for growth as we're looking to develop this role further into a shift supervisor.

Then this is the job for you! This role is responsible for receiving order request information, packing orders, and organizing products to meet customer requests. This role will also involve the moving of delivery vans, thus a valid driver’s license is required.
This is a part-time with our evening/night fulfilment team. Shifts start at 9:00 p.m. and are approximately 6-8 hours long. The weekly schedule is flexible as the bakery is open 7 days a week but we're looking for someone available on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.
Key tasks for the role:
- Assemble customer bread orders
- Go through order invoices and arrange trays accordingly
- Slice and bag items where required
- Place completed orders in designated areas
- Move delivery vans from loading dock to parking lot
- Run reports as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Skill Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License (Required)
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Precise attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Maintain a positive attitude in a team environment
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with evenings/night shifts
**Due to our location and the start and average end time of this position, having an alternate means of transportation is ideal. We are not located in a BC Public Transit friendly spot for that time of day**
