Position Overview
Becker Mining Technology Ltd. (a part of the Becker Mining Systems Group of Companies) is currently searching for an Operations Analyst to focus on analyzing production costs and operational expenses. The candidate will collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate cost allocation and provide insights that drive cost-saving initiatives. Essential Job Functions
Responsibilities
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance cost management and operational efficiency.
- Track and analyze operating costs to ensure alignment with budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Work with Procurement and the warehouse team to monitor inventory levels and expenditures.
- Work with Sales and Management to develop sales prices and maintain them in the ERP system.
- Assist in budget preparation, pricing analysis, and margin improvement initiatives.
- Provide support and backup to the other members of the Admin Team.
- Prepare material claims and supporting documentation as required.
- Assist in cycle counts and physical inventory; investigate and resolve count and transaction variances.
- Contribute to ERP optimization and reporting automation (Business Central, Excel, Power BI).
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Qualifications
- University degree in Business or Commerce.
- 2 to 5 years' experience as an analyst in a manufacturing environment.
- Computer literate, including advanced working skills in MS Word, Dynamics, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
- Working experience with Business Central and Power BI.

- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data modelling, macros).
- Strong numeric, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a focus on cost control and operational efficiency.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative member of a team.
- Proactive approach to identifying cost trends and developing solutions to improve profitability.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
