Job Overview
Portal Crane Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service, and supporting various administrative and accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls professionally
- Provide general administrative support to management and staff
- Enter customer orders and purchase orders accurately into the system
- Follow up on customer orders and purchase orders to ensure timely processing
- Prepare and process customer invoicing
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable balances
- Order and maintain office supplies and coordinate office needs
- Maintain filing systems and assist with document management
- Support management and other departments with administrative tasks as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative assistant, or office support role
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience with order entry, invoicing, and accounts receivable follow-up preferred
- Bookkeeping knowledge or experience is considered a strong asset
- Experience with ERP systems is an asset
Position Details:
- Full time, permanent position

Pay: $47,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
