As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your exceptional communication skills and attention to detail will help facilitate smooth operations in our busy restaurant environment.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting with reservations, take-out orders, or inquiries about the establishment.
- Collaborate with waitstaff and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all service areas, including menus and service areas.
- Assist in managing wait times effectively, providing updates to guests as necessary.
- Assist service team with table maintenance, food running, and floor support.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a love of creating connections.
- Familiarity with food service operations and POS systems is a plus.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for interacting with guests and team members.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
