We are currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Truck Driver to haul aggregates and transport equipment to our job sites across Calgary and the surrounding area.

Key Responsibilities
- Haul aggregates to various work sites in Calgary and the surrounding area
- Load and unload equipment and properly secure loads for transportation (including small pavers and rollers with a tag trailer)
- Perform daily preventative maintenance inspections and safety checks, and promptly report any mechanical issues to the Dispatch Supervisor
- Keep the truck clean and professional at all times
- Complete accurate daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, regulatory logs (e-logs), and timesheets
- Complete Field Level Hazard Assessment (FLHA) sheets for all worksites
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic regulations
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Valid Class 1 Driver’s License with a current clean 5-year commercial driver’s abstract
- Must be able to drive standard transmission (18-speed)
- Strong knowledge of Calgary and surrounding area
- Ability to identify and describe mechanical issues on the truck and/or trailer
- Own reliable transportation
Assets:
- Experience operating a quad
- Experience spreading aggregates
- Active Standard First Aid Certification
- Construction Safety Training System (CSTS 2020) – will be provided if needed
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Must be available to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and nights when required
- Must have CSA-approved safety boots
- Able to climb up and down from equipment
- Physically capable of handling the demands of loading, securing, and operating equipment
Schedule
- 8–12 hour shifts
- Weekends when necessary
- Night shifts when required (night shift premium applies)
