Description of Duties:
- Lead a deck crew to complete high quality projects on schedule.
- Communicate with clients throughout the deck building process to ensure an excellent customer experience.
- Maintain great communication with project manager during the project
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3 years carpentry experience
- Minimum 2 years crew leadership experience
- Friendly personality and able to communicate with clients where required
- Ability to problem solve
- Self motivated to work efficiently at a high quality level
- Ability to maintain clean and organize job site for the entire project duration
Deliverables:
1. Deliverable #1: Build custom decks on clients' property.
- Supply own means of transportation to and from the job site. Ideally a truck to move job site trailer from one project to the next. Vehicle allowance of $800 per month will be paid if truck is available.
2. Deliverable #2: Maintain an average of 9/10 quality score by giving an exceptional customer experience.
- Communicate with customers daily if they have any questions or concerns.
- Maintain a job site presence that is free of excessively loud music, swear and/or inappropriate discussions.
3. Deliverable #3: Provide initial and ongoing training to all members of your crew.
- Thoroughly read Deck Building Manual to understand Maverick Decks best construction practices for consistency among all projects.
- Ensure all crew members have a firm understanding of tool use, operation and maintenance.
4. Deliverable #4: Daily updates to Project Manager and administrative systems.
- Update project manager on missing materials needed for next day by 3pm
- Update project manager of schedule delays as they occur if the project will run past the completion date.
COMPENSATION:
Hourly Employee of Maverick Decks. Wage based on experience and performance but ranges between $35-45 per hour.
