What You’ll Be Doing
- Partner directly with People Leaders to support employee engagement, resolve employee relations issues, enhance performance initiatives and implement workplace best practices
- Support full-cycle recruitment in attracting top talent and coordinate/conduct onboarding of new team members
- Build strong relationships at our Corporate Office and across our operational Stations through regular visits
- Actively participate on the Joint Health & Safety Committee, promote a strong safety and wellness culture, and perform WSIB claims administration plus return-to-work planning
- Participate in compliance audits, prepare HR reports, analyze trends and help drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Potential to be designated as Payroll back-up as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources and CHRP designation (or actively working towards certification)
- A valid Ontario Class G Driver’s License along with a clean driver’s abstract
- Ability and willingness to drive (using the Company car) to client stations across the GTA (9 days per month which will also be hybrid work days for you)
- Strong understanding of Ontario employment legislation and HR best practices
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills
- Confident public speaker with the ability to communicate effectively in large group settings
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail
- High level of professionalism, emotional intelligence, and discretion
- Tech savvy with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Logistics, transportation, warehouse, or fast-paced operational experience is strongly preferred
- Experience using ADP Workforce Now is strongly preferred

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
