We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Part-Time Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches
- Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, to oversee all areas of the property
- Enforce loss prevention policies by observing and deterring theft or vandalism
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, and coordinate with law enforcement if necessary
- Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations
- Control access points by verifying credentials of visitors and employees
- Report any safety hazards or security concerns to management immediately
- Assist in emergency situations by following established safety procedures and protocols
Qualifications
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of surveillance systems and CCTV operation is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of loss prevention techniques and security best practices
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
- Ability to pass background checks and any required screening processes
