The clerk in the flower section must carry out all his/her tasks in a professional, responsible, precise and fast manner. He or she provides exceptional customer service, promotes customer loyalty, meets their needs and ensures at all times to handle money correctly by applying the company’s practices. He or she actively contributes to an environment conducive to employee and client engagement.
Here’s how you’ll help make a difference:
Follow food safety protocols, standard operating procedures, company health and safety policies, and other programs and initiatives
Offer customer service that meets the needs of customers
Keep the work area clean and organized
Prepare flower orders for customers
Run programs and market products
Handle and prepare the floral products
Actively promote products to increase in-store sales
Participate in the training of junior employees
Order and receive inventory in accordance with the company’s inventory control procedures, as required
Manage the losses of the department
Maintain an accurate cash drawer while adhering to company policies and procedures (full suite of services)
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company requirements
Perform other tasks as needed
Your qualities and assets:
Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
Ability to make gift wrapping and create floral products
Knowledge of how to care for and handle floral products
