FNF Canada, a division of Fidelity National Financial, is one of the country’s largest providers of title insurance and ancillary services. With our continued growth in Canada, we are seeking a Title Assistant for our Mississauga office. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to start or grow their career in real estate services and title processing.
The Title Assistant will provide administrative and technical support to the Title Specialists and other team members. They must work well under pressure as well as under minimal supervision and can deal with difficult situations with tact and diplomacy. The candidates must also be very organized, have excellent time management skills and display a positive attitude.
Primary responsibilities:

Support Title Specialists in resolving minor issues, such as missing documents or name discrepancies. Enter and update data in internal systems, maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Communicate with clients, law firms, and lenders to collect required information or documentation.

Verify financial information utilizing internal and external databases

Manage routine administrative tasks, including file organization, report generation, and responding to client inquiries.

Using sound judgment and problem-solving skills, analyze and propose solutions for problem situations

Work collaboratively with the team to meet deadlines and maintain a high standard of service.

Perform other duties as assigned
In-person collaboration, office-based work is necessary for the role.
Qualifications:

College diploma in a related field (e.g., real estate, legal administration, office administration).

Previous office or administrative experience preferred; experience in real estate or legal environments is an asset but not required.

Must be very organized and have excellent time management skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with Teraview or Conveyancer is an advantage but not mandatory.
