We are looking for a skilled and experienced Chinese Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing a variety of Indo-Chinese and Chinese dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, and kitchen hygiene.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese and Indo-Chinese dishes, including noodles, fried rice, Manchurian, chili chicken, soups, and stir-fries.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines.
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet restaurant standards.
- Prepare ingredients, sauces, and marinades for daily operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstation.
- Monitor inventory and assist with stock management.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Work efficiently during peak service hours.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chinese or Indo-Chinese Cook.
- Strong knowledge of wok cooking, sauces, and Chinese cooking techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
