Overview
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Member Services Representative to join our dynamic team at Ascendo. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our members, assisting with inquiries, managing memberships, and providing exceptional customer service. You’ll also play a key role in our supplement area by helping customers with purchases, receiving and organizing inventory, and keeping shelves neat and well-stocked. Duties:
- Greet and welcome members upon arrival, creating a friendly and positive first impression.
- Assist members with inquiries, membership options, and services available at the gym.
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage online inquiries regarding memberships, class schedules, and promotions.
- Support the onboarding process for new members, including helping them complete necessary paperwork and explaining gym policies and procedures.
- Process membership sign-ups, renewals, and cancellations, ensuring accurate data entry and up-to-date member records.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk area.
- Manage customer complaints and concerns promptly, maintaining a professional and calm demeanor.
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing supplements, providing product knowledge and recommendations based on their fitness goals.
- Receive, unpack, and organize supplement inventory, ensuring stock levels are maintained and items are properly displayed.
- Face shelves and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the supplement area to create an appealing and easy-to-shop environment.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or administrative roles, preferably in a fitness or gym environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with members, staff, and management.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficient in using computer systems for membership management, scheduling, and point of sale (POS) systems.
- A positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping others and promoting fitness.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and handle various responsibilities efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address and resolve customer concerns.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Familiarity with gym equipment, fitness classes, wellness programs, and supplements is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.75-$18.00 per hour
