Job Profile
The Room Attendant provides a superior level of guest room cleaning service. This position maintains and exceeds Delta standards.
Duties and Responsibilities

Provide housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, changing and arranging the towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting rearranging the room, disinfecting all guest room surfaces after guests check out.

Report and return any guest properties found in the rooms while rendering service.

Report cases of property damage in commercial spaces to working housekeeper.

Clean, disinfect and store all equipment at the end of the shift.

Monitor and report on the inventory of cleaning supplies.

Respond to calls for housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glass.

Assist with laundry management, including washing, drying, ironing and sorting linen.

Report, turn in and log all lost and found items.

Clean upholstered furniture.

Stocks carts daily.

Perform detailed deep cleans when required.

Performs other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs.
Qualifications
-
Possess a positive attitude and works well with other team members.
-
3 years of housekeeping experience in an upscale hotel.

A team player.

Able to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision.
-
Able to communicate effectively in English both written and verbal.
-
Possess good attention to detail and have strong organizational skills.

Able to complete repetitive tasks including bending, lifting, and stretching.

Must be willing to work in Kamloops, BC

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
