Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker/Installer to join our team. This is NOT AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION; we are looking for a professional with a proven track record in cabinetry and installation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in custom cabinet making, installation, and finishing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the dimensions, materials, and procedures for cabinetry projects.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
- Assemble and install cabinets, countertops, and other fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Ensure high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail in all work performed.
- Perform finishing tasks such as sanding,
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cabinet Maker/Installer in Canada.
- Proficiency in using woodworking tools and machinery.
- Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, materials, and finishes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
