We are hiring General Labour associates for Candy/Chocolate packaging for our client based in Branford, Ontario.
Location: Brantford, ON
Afternoon Shift - Monday to Friday | 3 pm – 11 pm
Pay Rate: $18.10 per hour
Job responsibilities:
- Unpacks products from cardboard boxes (e.g. chocolate and candies)
- Performs hand assembly functions on an assembly line by unpacking and repacking products into boxes or displays.
- Transport raw materials finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment.
- Make boxes and displays, apply stickers/labels to the product as they move along conveyor belt.
- May be required to label or seal repackaged boxes.
- May be required to pack pallets with finished products.
- As directed, cleans up work area at the end of the shift.
- Other duties as required.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Basic understanding of reading, and writing, English.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Primarily works in a factory and/or warehouse setting
- Lifting up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- Standing for long periods of time
- Stooping, walking, and lifting on a regular basis
- CSA approved steel toe shoes
