The successful applicant will be responsible for food preparation and counter service as well as general deli counter duties.There are part- and full- time positions available as well as day and evening shifts.
Education/Certificates -
Completion of college in food related field, Current first aid, Food Safe Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate would all be considered assets.
Responsibilities:
- end service to customers from ourhot case
- Preparing, packing and displaying deli meats and foods
- Merchandising products in store display cases
- Cleaning and sanitizing the work area
- Ensuring excellent customer service is provided to ourvalued customers.
Counter Attendant and Food Preparer Skills:
Prepare, heat and finish simple food items, Use manual and electrical appliance to clean, peel, sliceand trim food stuffs, Portion and wrap foods, Package take-out food, Stock refrigerator and salad bars, Keep records of the quantities of food used.
Kitchen Helping Skills:
Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit, Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surface, cupboards, storage areas,appliances and equipment.
