Position: Human Resources Advisor (Part-Time)

About the Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Human Resources Advisor to join our team on a part-time basis. This role provides HR guidance and support across a variety of human resources functions, helping to ensure compliance with employment legislation while fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Support recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
- Assist with employee relations matters, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality.
- Ensure compliance with employment standards, workplace legislation, and company policies.
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives.
- Coordinate training and professional development opportunities.
- Support health and safety, workplace investigations, and accommodation processes as required.
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation for management.
- Participate in special HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation or working toward certification is considered an asset.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
