Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ECE (Early Childhood Education) Assistant to join our educational team. In this role, you will support classroom activities, assist lead teachers, and help create a nurturing environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood development, strong communication skills, and experience working with children. Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities
- Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs within the classroom setting
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times
- Help with classroom organization, including preparing materials and cleaning up after activities
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages learning and exploration
- Support children with special needs or disabilities as needed, following individualized plans
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to promote a collaborative atmosphere
- Observe and document children's progress to assist in planning future activities
Skills
- Prior classroom experience or experience working with children is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and developmental milestones
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Basic understanding of math concepts suitable for early childhood education settings
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of young children
- Ability to follow directions carefully and maintain a safe, nurturing environment
Pay: $17.85-$21.00 per hour
