How to apply
Apply directly through this posting. A cover letter is required to be considered for this role. Applications submitted without a cover letter will not be reviewed. In your cover letter please share five examples that demonstrate your HR expertise and five character assets you believe will contribute to this role and to TheMineryWay.
A note on AI: We are an AI-forward organization and we use tools like Claude every day. We also know the difference between a response that came from a person and one that came from a prompt. We encourage you to use AI as a tool to support your thinking, but your cover letter, your examples, and your resume must be yours. Generic statements and blanket descriptions tell us nothing. Specific examples that only you could write tell us everything. We are hiring you, not your AI. We will be able to tell.

About Marino's Automotive Group
Marino's Automotive Group is a family-owned multi-brand dealership group with over 60 years in business, operating four locations in the Kipling and Queensway area of Etobicoke across the Jaguar Land Rover, Volvo, Honda, and Subaru brands. All four dealerships are close to one another and the culture reflects it. Marino's has earned a loyal customer base and a strong reputation built on one simple belief: people matter. That applies to every customer and every employee.
The role
As the Senior HR Business Partner at Marino's, you are The Minery's most visible presence on the ground. You are on-site every day, working directly with the Marino's ownership and executive team and delivering HR across the full employee lifecycle for four dealership locations.
While the two Junior HRBPs and CX Facilitator report formally to the Manager of The Minery HR Services, you are the senior point of contact on the ground. Day-to-day questions, issues, and escalations from the on-site team come to you first. You set the tone, you hold the standard, and you ensure HR runs seamlessly across all four locations. You are also responsible for the full scope of HR delivery including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, terminations, leaves, health and safety, and employee relations.
Marino's Automotive Group is committed to being an Employer of Choice and The Minery plays a direct role in making that a reality. This is an opportunity to build something meaningful — a people-first culture that attracts and retains great talent across four dealership locations.

-
Prepare and present monthly client check-ins, quarterly HR reviews, and an Annual People Plan
