Sales and Marketing Representative
Aaki Corp is a highly respected design and manufacturing company with a focused solid product base and outstanding customer service. We have been in the business-to-business space for over 30 years and our products our used throughout North America and worldwide.
Aaki is a small business located in Canada with a large global presence. Our products have been sold into many different industries around the world.
We require an experienced, dedicated individual to help us grow our business by expanding our customer base throughout Canada and the USA.
Presently, we have three major product lines:
Motor Shaft Grounding Devices
These modules are bolted onto VFD driven electric motors to prevent bearing failure. They would be used wherever an electric motor is operated, repaired, manufactured, installed, or distributed.
Static bonding reels.
This product line is popular in the Oil and Gas industry throughout North America and is used wherever flammable liquids are transferred or handled. We are well established in Alberta and have made significant inroads into the US.
Static bonding and grounding devices.
These products are used to control static charges created through the movement of material. They are used to reduce the potential for static to cause fires and explosions. This line of product is used in many industries, (Oil and Gas, Pulp and Paper, plastics handling, paint booths, and many other refinery and material conveying processes).
The ideal candidate would be responsible for many aspects of the company's sales and marketing strategies. This is a hands on position where you would be responsible for developing further marketing material, delivering it to potential customers, and closing the sale. Ultimately your success would be measured on how well you are able to grow the customer base for new and existing products and close sales.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Generating leads through warm calling. This would make up the majority of the position. We have an excellent potential client list making targeting the right end user fairly straight forward. Conversations with potential clients are fairly easy going.
- Generating and updating promotional material, such as brochures, blogs and product updates in both print and digital media.
- Presenting our products over the phone and video conferencing / or in person to each new lead.
- Developing and building relationships with the client.
- Closing the sale with integrity and professionalism that represents our company in the best possible light.
- Staying on top of the industry and our product line to be able to better offer value to our clients.
- Listening to our customer’s needs and reporting any new products that we could develop for our customers to help solve their unique challenges.
- Work with operations and accounting to ensure our customers receive the product that they need on time.
- Continually updating and logging activity in Salesforce.com.
- Preparing and submitting weekly activity reports and forecasts through Salesforce.com.
Skills required:
- Comfortable calling current and potential customers.
- An Excellent grasp of our products and its application, and the industries where the product could be of value. (Can be learned)
- Excellent command of the English language both oral and written.
- Windows computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Working with a CRM (Saleforce).
- Accounting software experience (QuickBooks preferable).
- Ability to develop brochures and sales material.
- Ability to work on your own with little supervision.
- Ability to close.
- An individual that has in depth knowledge of the electric motor repair and maintenance industry and has working knowledge of our product line would be an asset.

This is a part time, long term, home-based position that allows you flexibility to choose your work locale and schedule. For the Individual with the right drive and skills this position could lead to a full time career.
