Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to lead our digital marketing efforts across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building brand awareness, engaging audiences, and driving online growth through innovative content and targeted campaigns. This role requires a strong understanding of e-commerce, SEO, and digital marketing best practices, along with proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Hootsuite, and Google Analytics. The Social Media Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping our online presence and ensuring our brand remains competitive in the digital landscape.
Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with company goals to increase brand visibility and engagement.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Reddit, LinkedIn, and others using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and video editing skills.
- Engage with online communities and represent the company on digital platforms.
- Manage social media scheduling and monitoring through tools like Hootsuite and Buffer to ensure consistent posting schedules.
- Conduct keyword research to optimize content for SEO and improve organic reach.
- Implement Facebook Advertising campaigns and analyze their performance to maximize ROI.
- Collaborate with the e-commerce team to promote products effectively through social channels.
- Proofread all content for accuracy, tone, and brand consistency before publishing.
- Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends and platform updates to keep strategies current and effective.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in social media management within a digital marketing or e-commerce environment.
- Previous experience administering the back end of Meta, and Tik Tok. Additional experience with Reddit, Discord, Whatnot and other digital marketing platforms is preferred.
- Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and keyword research techniques.
- Familiarity with Facebook Advertising and other paid social media campaigns.
- Ability to analyze data using Google Analytics to measure campaign success.
- Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles including content creation, branding, and audience engagement.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative content ideas that resonate with target audiences.
