Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized treatment plans to help patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. Candidates with hospital experience, especially in acute care and pediatrics, are highly preferred. The Physiotherapist will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care in a supportive environment.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine physical therapy needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to improve mobility and reduce pain
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and health maintenance
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards
- Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy techniques and medical terminology through ongoing professional development
Requirements
- Valid license or certification as a licensed Physiotherapist
- Proven experience in hospital settings, particularly in acute care or pediatrics, is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and therapeutic practices
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Compassionate approach with a focus on patient-centered care
- Ability to adapt treatment plans based on individual patient needs and progress
