Job Title: Part-Time Barista

Hours: 15–20 hours/week; mornings/early evenings/weekends, MUST HAVE THURSDAY AVAILABILITY
About Us:
At Sister Sister Coffee Bar, we’re passionate about creating a fun & welcoming space for our customers and serving specialty coffee and beverages with care. We’re currently looking for a friendly and reliable part-time barista to join our team at our first permanent location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold drinks, including espresso-based beverages, teas, pastries and other menu items
- Provide warm customer service with a positive and professional attitude
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including counters, equipment, and seating areas
- Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels as needed
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Handle cash and card transactions using the POS system accurately
- Performs opening and closing duties
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand/walk for a maximum 8 hour shift
- Intermittent bending, kneeling and squatting
- Ability to lift up to 50lb
Qualifications:
- Previous barista or food service experience preferred but not required – we’re happy to train the right person
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must be 18 years or older
