The Role
We are currently looking to add a Commercial Door Installer / Door Technician to our team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with experience in commercial doors or a strong construction background who wants to grow their career in a specialized trade.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Install and service commercial galvanized steel man doors, frames, and related hardware.
- Diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot mechanical issues on-site, including problems with closers, panic bars, hinges, locks, and alignment.
- Safely lift, handle, and install heavy doors and industrial materials.
- Accurately measure, fit, plumb, and adjust doors and hardware to ensure perfect operation and security.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on commercial entryways to ensure longevity and optimal performance.
- Maintain high standards of quality and safety on job sites, adhering to all construction and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, including explaining repairs to clients, maintaining accurate job records, and representing CMF Doors with pride and professionalism.

Requirements
- Experience in commercial door installation is strongly preferred
- Construction, carpentry, or related trade experience required
- Physically able to lift and install heavy doors
- Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to anticipate next steps and see the bigger picture
- Valid driver’s license required
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
